The U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency is gearing up for an unprecedented growth in the number of its field agents, according to a December 2 story in the Washington Post. The growth follows a pattern of similar surges for other major U.S. intelligence agencies, the NSA and the CIA, since 2001.

“The DIA overhaul,” the Post explained, “combined with the growth of the CIA since the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks — will create a spy network of unprecedented size. The plan reflects the Obama administration’s affinity for espionage and covert action over conventional force.”

The purpose of gearing up the DIA staff may be to better target drone strikes around the world, according to the Post: “The DIA has long played a major role in assessing and identifying targets for the U.S. military, which in recent years has assembled a constellation of drone bases stretching from Afghanistan to East Africa.” The establishment Washington newspaper has noted that this increase in agents is genuinely noteworthy, despite the official talk of budget-tightening in Washington. “This is not a marginal adjustment for DIA,” the agency’s director, Lt. Gen. Michael T. Flynn, told the Post at a recent conference, during which he outlined the changes but did not describe them in detail. “This is a major adjustment for national security.” Flynn predicted an “era of persistent conflict” globally in which the DIA is needed for providing on-the-ground intelligence, possibly for military strikes.

So why is the Obama administration gearing up the DIA instead of the Central Intelligence Agency? The Washington Post seems to think it's because the DIA is less subject to day-to-day congressional oversight than the CIA. The Post suggested:

The expansion of the agency’s clandestine role is likely to heighten concerns that it will be accompanied by an escalation in lethal strikes and other operations outside public view. Because of differences in legal authorities, the military isn’t subject to the same congressional notification requirements as the CIA, leading to potential oversight gaps. (CONTINUE READING)

Why Are Police Beating up Disabled People?

We’ve nearly grown completely accustomed to a disturbing societal defect. More frequently, we witness sub-human treatment of disabled and elderly citizens and sufferers of medical illnesses by the very men and women sworn to serve and protect them.

From shoving cerebral palsy victims to dragging elderly women out of their vehicles to tasering stroke sufferers, the blind and pregnant women, corrupt police are being caught blatantly disregarding age and health conditions, trampling basic civil freedoms and essentially tossing logical discretion out the window when discerning law-abiding innocents from law-breaking criminals.

While we highlight these outrageous instances, we nevertheless maintain hope that a majority of our oath-sworn peace officers are good people capable of critical thinking and respectful of human life.

The month of October brought us more than its fair share of disabled citizen police state abuses.

Earlier this month, we reported on UK police tasering a blind man who was walking down the sidewalk minding his own business. The spontaneous attack sent the victim, Colin Farmer, a blind 61-year-old year old retired architect, to the hospital leaving him embittered at police for their actions. “He was not an officer of the law; he was an absolute thug with a license to carry a dangerous weapon,” Farmer remarked. The officer involved mistakenly perceived the man’s cane to be a samurai sword prior to the electrocution.

We also recently reviewed June 2010 footage of a Vancouver, British Columbia police officer shoving a cerebral palsy sufferer onto the ground for merely attempting to squeeze through a group of three officers walking side-by-side. Last week, we learned the victim was granted a 2013 hearing with the B.C. Human Rights Tribunal.
Earlier this month, a federal complaint against two officers of the Austin Police Department was filed alleging use of a Taser to shock a man suffering a seizure in his own home. The 50-year-old man’s complaint alleged the officers entered his home and “used violence to restrict him from movement, constrained his ability to breathe and repeatedly shocked him with a Taser gun.”

Also, last week the City of Cleburne, Texas reached an agreement with a man who was wrongfully Tasered back in April. When 19-year-old Ricky Jones refused to answer questions following an accident, officer Jason Vanderlaan issued a warning to comply, “Step out of the vehicle. Or I will tase you!” and made good on his promise, tasing the defiant deviant. Only after EMS arrived did officers learn Jones was diabetic and was non-compliant due to his undergoing a hypoglycemic seizure.

Judging by the numerous reports we’ve seen, some police also seem to have no problem harassing, picking fights or even killing less-mobile members of society. (CONTINUE READING + VIDEO)

A stay at home mom in Texas was held in jail for 18 hours for allowing her children to ride on scooters while she was watching them from her home. A mother in Virginia was also harassed by social services and police for the egregious crime of allowing their children to play outside in another example of how the nanny state is running wild in America.

- The war on lemonade stands, traditionally viewed as a quaint example of America’s entrepreneurial spirit, has intensified in recent months with cops slapping parents with fines for letting their kids run “unlicensed” lemonade stands in three separate incidents over the last year alone. A map of restrictions on child-run concession stands illustrates how there have been dozens of examples of police interference across the country.

- After an 11-year battle with the state of Oregon, landowner Gary Harrington was found guilty under a 1925 law and sentenced to spend 30 days in jail for collecting rainwater in three “illegal reservoirs” despite the fact that they are on his property. (CONTINUE READING)

U.S. Cities Embrace Software To Automatically Detect "Suspicious" Behavior

San Francisco is set to become the latest U.S. city to invest in software, created by Texas-based BRS Labs, that monitors and memorizes movements as they are captured on security cameras. The software, AISight, watches footage in real-time and—like a human would—learns to understand, detect, and report “suspicious or abnormal behavior.”

What exactly is defined as suspicious or abnormal behavior? That appears to depend on the environment in which AISight is operating. Its creators say it can be used to flag everything from “unusual loitering” to activity occurring in restricted areas. It could issue an alert after spotting a person leaving a bag unattended in a crowded airport, for instance, or raise alarm if a person is seen trying to cross a perimeter.

San Francisco’s Municipal Transit Authority believes AISight will give it the capacity to track more than 150 “objects and activities” continuously at 12 MTA train stations in San Francisco, according to public procurement documents. BRS Labs has also reportedly struck a deal to monitor the new World Trade Center site in New York. And late last year it was announced that Houston had purchased AISight to be deployed as part of a “citywide surveillance initiative” to “identify potential criminal or terroristic behavioral activity.” It has also been installed in Louisiana for port security, and authorities in El Paso want to use it to monitor water treatment plants near the Mexico border.

The pioneering product has unsurprisingly been lauded by counter-terrorism industry aficionados, but it has caused alarm among privacy and civil liberties advocates. Like surveillance drones, biometric databases, and bomb-proof trash cans, opponents argue, AISight and similar technologies transform citizens into suspects. Because AISight is used to monitor and detect not just acts of crime but potential acts of crime, based purely on a set of algorithms, it is considered part of the push towards pre-emptive—or “pre-crime”—policing, which treats everyone as a potential criminal and targets people for crimes they have not yet committed (and may never commit) (CONTINUE READING)

Given the fact that the US and Israel are both yearning for a casus belli to launch an attack on Iran, added to recent history where a staged provocation was considered, and in addition to the innumerable examples of false flags overseen by the Obama administration alone, the threat of staged terror has never been greater.

Unlike the plethora of fake terror alerts that former Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge admitted were issued for political propaganda, this one is very serious indeed.

The American public are being bombarded with the same propaganda in two similar but separate formats, one that Iran is looking to launch a terror attack on U.S. soil, and two that domestic extremists also pose a violent threat.

However, as recent history tells us, it is the government itself which routinely stages and facilitates violent events in pursuit of its political objectives, therefore the same interests should be the number one suspects if and when violent events occur.

US intelligence officials last week upped the rhetoric against Iran during congressional testimony by claiming that Tehran is prepared to launch reprisal attacks inside the United States.

Director of National Intelligence James R. Clapper Jr. cited the alleged Iranian plot to assassinate a Saudi ambassador on U.S. soil as a sign that, “Some Iranian officials — probably including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei — have changed their calculus and are now more willing to conduct an attack in the United States in response to real or perceived U.S. actions that threaten the regime.”

As we documented at the time, according to retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Anthony Shaffer, no information concerning the supposed plot even existed within FBI channels, strongly suggesting the story was manufactured by the Obama administration. The New York Times also reported that the dubious nature of the plot caused “a wave of puzzlement and skepticism from some foreign leaders and outside experts.” (CONTINUE READING)

Martial Law Drill Commences as Economy Begins Descent

A massive terror drill – remarkably ignored by all but local media – is now underway in Denver, Colorado.



More than 100 government agencies are taking part in Operation Mountain Guardian, made possible due to a grant from the Department of Homeland Security through FEMA Region VIII and the State of Colorado Governor’s Office of Homeland Security, according to KDVR in Denver. Mock terror drills will be staged at a mall, an elementary school, a community college, a hospital, and transportation hubs, including the Denver airport. The exercise is scheduled to begin at 5 a.m. and end by 4:30 p.m., according to ABC 7 News in Denver. KDVR reports that the media will be allowed to report on the events, but a news advisory PDF released by officialdom states media coverage will be restricted to “outside areas.” Terror drills are of particular concern due to the fact that several were staged on September 11, 2001, and July 7, 2005, during attacks attributed to Muslim cave dwellers and associated patsies. On the morning of September 11, 2001, the CIA was conducting a terror exercise and several days earlier, on September 6, NORAD simulated two hijackings as part of Vigilant Guardian. According to the government’s 9/11 report, one military scenario included terrorists hijacking a London to New York flight and blowing it up with explosives over New York.

As massive unrest plaguing the United Kingdom spread from London to other cities last night, claims emerged that individuals calling themselves journalists were offering to pay youths to start riots, suggesting an effort to provocateur some of the violence.
According to Tweets sent by people who were in the city of Leicester last night trying to secure their communities, kids were being told to cause mayhem in return for cash. Leicester was hit by violence later that night, as youths attacked buildings in the city center.
“There were swarms of hooded Asian, black and white youths in their 20s, and some as young as 12, being hounded out of Leicester city centre at around midnight,” nightclub owner James Cockerill told the BBC.

In a message that was forwarded to Leicestershire police, a Twitter user called “leicestertalk” wrote, “AadamSparkzz & his mates just offered money by these journos to start a riot in #Leicester.”  (CONTINUE READING)

Today’s bombing in Oslo and a related mass shooting that occurred just outside the Norwegian capital are already replete with inconsistencies and questions that demand further inquiry into whose agenda this deadly attack serves.
Authorities have already said that the man who carried out the shootings at a youth camp in a nearby resort has direct ties to the earlier bombing in Oslo of a government building.

How Totalitarian Police States Are Built

Totalitarian state powers grow by great leaps and bounds in the midst of obvious threats to the safety of the people, such as major wars and great financial crises. This has happened repeatedly in the U.S. from Lincoln’s Civil War to Bush and Obama’s Global “War On Terrorism” and their “Saving” the American people and the world from the Great Financial Crisis the government created through the wild pump-priming of the Federal Reserve and Big Banks. When the crisis is over some of those powers are reduced, but not eliminated, so the totalitarian powers ratchet up one big step at each major crisis and over a century and a half the U.S. government would by those big steps alone have created most of the totalitarian police powers it now possesses.
The Secret Police and federal banking system are extreme examples of that. There were no Secret Police or federal banking system before the Civil War, though the U.S. Bank Jackson eliminated was in small part a federal bank de facto. We now have sixteen publicly known secret police armies at the federal level and no doubt many top secret ones not admitted to exist, as the NSA and others were long top-secrets. The Fed and Ten Big Banks it guarantees and oversees control about 75% of all banking loans now and are a gigantic financial tyranny working almost entirely in secret on the crucial issues.
These processes by which totalitarian systems grow from created or perceived “Threats” in democracies have been obvious since the ancient world when tyrants like Sulla and Caesar and Augustus built their hidden tyrannies in these ways. Even when Augustus had become an extreme tyrant controlling almost all of the still standing institutions of the Republic of Rome, he was able to hide it carefully enough that most Romans, as far as we can tell, did not know he was a tyrant at all. Other tyrannies have been just as successful at secrecy in Republics, from the Medici in Florence to the USSR and other People’s Republics and the U.S. today.
While they have grown mostly by the big steps “absolutely needed to save the people from grave threats,” they have also used many other deceitful processes and devices. ranging from the use of secret police acts of tyranny, such as massive intimidation of officials and bribery of all kinds. and keeping the ancient forms of freedom but secretly refilling them with tyrannical powers of the Party or Leader, to building the totalitarian powers very slowly in baby steps that come on cat’s paws, very quietly and gently in ways the people rarely notice and when they do accept as “small inconveniences but nothing serious.” Just as intelligent monetary officials build inflation by small increases in the money supply over long periods so the people will not feel enough pain at any time to revolt, so the intelligent tyrant in general uses small steps on gentle cat’s paws to slowly eat away the real freedoms below the pain threshold of public perception. The Fed was imposed on the American people by a conspiracy of big bankers working with the government secretly in 1913. At that time the U.S. gold based currencies issued had slowly been gaining real purchasing power on average since the Revolution, with some oscillations, including the huge inflationary fall in purchasing power during the Civil War when federal greenbacks and Confederate money was poured out by the governments to pay for the war. In this century the Fed has produced a step-by-step, ratchet up inflation of over 2,000% without the people revolting and burning down the Fed. People get very mad during the inflations of war time, so the government imposes price controls which hide the inflation by driving it into the soaring black markets. (CONTINUE READING)

Mubarak’s Last Gambit: Manufacturing Chaos

There is a joke making the rounds in Egypt that Hosni Mubarak threatened to demonstrate in front of parliament and self-emulate himself if the Egyptian people refuse to step down and join the deposed Tunisian leader in Exile.
The octogenarian dictator is simply delusional if thinks he can hold onto power. By my estimates, he’ll be gone in a week or two – hopefully sooner. But before he gives up his throne, he means to dole out a severe dose of punishment to the 80 million ‘ingrates’ who have delegitimized his corruption infested regime.
Mubarak is a desperate and stubborn man. The disbanding of the police last Friday was a calculated attempt to manufacture chaos and terrorize the populace. It was supposed to be the perfect state crime. The police suddenly vanished abandoning even the prisons which are administered by the Ministry of Interior. With the gates thrown wide open, the criminal elements were let loose as the state controlled media started spreading false rumors of hysterical citizens being attacked in their homes. The crooks were joined by some members of the police force that were ‘on vacation.’ They obviously weren’t idiots. Instead of using the security void to attack apartments and homes, they targeted the national museum, upscale retailers, the gold market and malls.
Unfortunately for Mubarak, the Egyptian people disrupted the regime’s plan. All around the country, alert citizens immediately took control of security in their neighborhoods and within a few hours of the mysterious and still unexplained disappearance of the police, young men and old banded together to protect their families and their property. Defense committees were set up on virtually every block. It was a splendid show of community values and extremely effective. Put it this way – this was a bad week to be a burglar in Cairo.
The regime has yet to explain who gave the orders for the police to abandon their stations. When the plot fizzled, Mubarak fired Habib Adley, the interior minister and blamed the chaos on “foreign elements” – no doubt the diabolical Maltese Intelligence Agency working in coordination with Taiwanese drug cartels.
The objective of the government’s plot to foment chaos was to compel Egyptians to hide in their homes while “Daddy Mubarak” came to the rescue. The ensuing disorder was a great excuse to impose a curfew to disband the demonstrators in Tahrir Square and dissuade others from joining them. Mubarak and his henchmen might be creative but their attempt to spread panic was not exactly original. That’s pretty much what the American Army did when they invaded Iraq – they ordered the army and police to disband and unlocked the penitentiary gates. (READ ENTIRE ARTICLE)

Shocker: Citizen Spy Networks to be Given Immunity

New York Republican Peter King has introduced a bill that would protect the army of citizen spies Homeland Security hopes to recruit under Janet Napolitano’s “See Something, Say Something” snoop campaign from lawsuits brought by innocent people wrongly accused of being terrorists or extremists.
“A top US lawmaker unveiled legislation on Wednesday to protect individuals who tip off authorities to potential extremist threats from lawsuits, in the event that they turn out to finger innocents,” reports AFP.

House Homeland Security Chairman King, who is pushing the “See Something, Say Something Act,” wants to shield “good citizens who report suspicious activity” from facing the consequences of misidentifying innocent behavior as extremism or terror.

Of course, this will only encourage untrained people to report any behavior whatsoever, no matter how benign, as potential terrorism, creating an army of enthusiastic but hapless citizen spies.
“King said his bill would extend protections from individuals “who report suspicious activity anywhere,” adds the report, making reference to the DHS’ “See Something, Say Something” campaign, which characterizes paying for things with cash as a suspicious activity.
The program was launched with the aid of Orwellian telescreens at Wal-Mart checkouts that play a message from Homeland Security chief Janet Napolitano encouraging Americans to report anything unusual to Wal-Mart managers. The program was subsequently expanded to include 9,000 federal buildings, as well as sports stadiums, businesses and communities in general.

DHS will no longer be limited to the airport in the form of the TSA, but will become a ubiquitous entity policing everyone through a network of citizen spies and infrastructure security technology. The agency will also assume the mantle of regulating Americans’ every behavior and activity. DHS signs are already in place all over the country telling people where they can and can’t park their cars.
As we have documented, every historical example of such informant programs illustrates that they never lead to a more secure society, but instead breed suspicion, distrust, fear and resentment amongst the population. The only “benefit” that such programs have ever achieved is allowing the state to more easily identify and persecute political dissidents, while discouraging the wider population from engaging in any criticism against the government.
Since its official launch, the See Something, Say Something campaign has successfully wasted thousands of dollars of taxpayer money after people reported half-empty flasks of coffee and bags of clothes as deadly threats that required a response from bomb squads.
Of course, as we have documented, the federal government is fully aware of the fact that Americans are just as likely to be killed by lightning strikes, peanut allergies or accident-causing deer than they are by terrorists.
See Something, Say Something has little to do with combating terrorism, and everything to do with implanting the notion that Americans are constantly under surveillance from each other and may be reported to the authorities for any minor example of aberrant behavior no matter how benign.
In addition, since the Department of Homeland Security has characterized political activism which targets the state as extremist and terrorist activity, Americans are being trained that exercising their constitutional rights could get them in hot water with the law should their behavior be deemed suspicious by ignorant wannabe citizen spies who see themselves as terrorist hunters.

In an ironic twist, Rep. King, who is now trying to protect snoops who identify innocent behavior as extremism from lawsuits, was one of the primary co-sponsors of a 2009 House resolution that attempted to get answers as to why Homeland Security equated veterans, gun owners, Ron Paul supporters, and people who fly the U.S. flag, with violent terrorists, following the release of the agency’s infamous MIAC report.

Were people consciously aware something was about to change in a very bad way just before Lenin and Trotsky appeared on the scene in Petrograd in the spring of 1917? Did the German people realize accepting the 'hope' of Hitler would result in something so hideous and evil that tens of millions of people would die and a permanent bloodstain would appear on the history of Germany? For over one hundred years now,  the elite have been commissioning authors and directors to portray a future that is dark and disturbing in the countryside,  yet beautiful and harmonious in their highly controlled Cities,  so that we may accept their plans for World Government on a subconscious level. The objective is to wash our brains by repeating this scenario over and over until we are mentally beaten into submission with images and thoughts that will one day become the accepted norm. The way this is done is though foundations, "Non-Governmental Organizations" and think tanks that permeate our political, financial and social institutions around the world by injecting money into projects that further their agenda. These organizations have been a very powerful tool for the elite to predicatively program us through media  to accept the thought of living in controlled cities where all "important" decisions are chosen for us by the state.

One good example of predictive programming is the video below. According to this video provided by a group called "Forum For The Future",  we will be put on calorie rations and have our professions chosen for us, but don't worry! you'll still get to play video games and gossip with your friends.

According to the Elite, the "Useless Eaters" are just too darn irresponsible for self determination and need to  be told what to do and how to live. That may appear to be true to some,  but this is an illusion that the "powers that be" have propagated since war and money were invented. The future that they have promoted is one of total control over every aspect of our lives. We will no longer be individuals that have the right to live as we so desire. Unless of course we peacefully resist.now.
